Hi Allan, Happy Belated Birthday!

Hey, I can't tell if my snappy feelings are the usual ones or not.....

But since the sun is moving into Cancer I thought this might be worth reading:

The day the Sun moves into Cancer is known as the summer solstice, whilst the day of the Sun’s entry into Capricorn marks the winter solstice. Both events are special times when – for a brief moment – the Sun in the sky above us appears to stand still, although in reality it never does, not even for the briefest of moments. As mentioned in ‘The Random Jottings of a Stargazer’, throughout the whole of Creation, all is movement and constant changes; nothing ever stands still. From the Highest levels of life, at solstice time especially powerful outpourings of blessing and healing energy are flowing into us and our world and everything that shares it with us, which grow ever stronger some time before the solstice and also for some time after. For souls who are already walking the healer’s pathway, great cosmic events of this nature always create opportunities for consciously playing their part in the healing of our world through offering themselves to serve as channels of light.
When the Sun moves through Cancer, all life on our planet is partaking of this sign’s soft, gentle and highly sensitive energies. Wise ones appreciate that this is a weepy time, when tears come easily, which can be of real benefit for those on their healing journey. It is also a good time for delving into the past; allowing old hurts and pains to come to the surface of our consciousness. Before going into them however, it is advisable to ask for the help of God and the Angels, to bring us healing and comfort. As we willingly go into our pain and allow our tears to come, they can and will draw close to bring us everything we need. They also ensure that we do not get stuck in the past and the pain it brought.
Sun in Cancer is a wonderful time for letting go of whatever is bothering us, including some of the most ancient skeletons that are still hanging around in our emotional/spiritual cupboard. So, when they do knock at the door of our consciousness – as they will, whether we like it or not – do not suppress them and do not push them away. Work with them and go with them; call for help and rest safely in the knowledge that help always does come, when we call for it. How about making it your chance for finding out that this is so? As God and the Angels attend to your healing needs, your faith in them, as well as in your ability to call upon them, whenever you are in need, is sure to grow.
